It makes me long for more personal mermaid lists around the web similar to your cat girl list. (I wonder whether I've seen someone make one in the distant past, or perhaps I remember some shrine collective with a mermaid-related domain that mentioned mermaids in passing; Flameshe certainly sounds very familiar. Or perhaps it's my brain's wishful thinking whenever I happen upon a mermaid in video games/manga by chance, like in Valkyrie Profile or Yggdra Union. Listen, Yggdra Union, a tactical RPG with subpar story, has a female-only Undine unit class, which excels at using spears, can move in water terrain and gets bonuses on those tiles. Isn't that so damn cool?? I need more mermaids in video games.) I hope I get to watch the movies you mentioned sometime! In any case, going to add the shrine to my button wall. I'm also looking forward to seeing the rest of your Legend of Mana shrine, though I'm not familiar with the game myself. I'd seen shrines to certain characters/NPCs before, but your point "All of the NPCs are relevant; each character participates in at least one quest." makes it a game I definitely have to see for myself! do you happen to know where you found this button? i made this when was about 12 for a hamtaro fansite i used to run, seeing it really surprised me! it doesn't appear on the site it links so i'm mostly just curious where it was even salvaged this long later since i think i took down ham-ham hq around 2003 or so. (i by no means am upset or want you to take it down, it made me really happy to see it this long later!!)
